Course Description
Early Childhood is a year long course that begins with an introduction to personal and professional preparation for continued education, training, and careers in early childhood.

- Observation, Assessment, and Guidence
1st Year
The 1st year of Early Childhood is when you study child development ranging from birth through age twelve, and children's safety. You are also introuced to the MSDH guidelines and regulations governing child care facilities and the importance of this course.
2nd Year
The 2nd year of Early Childhood is when you get to help with the the kids more and you go into futher depth methods of child guidance techniques and perparation in FCCLA:Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a Career and Technical Student Organization that functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum and operates within the school system.
3rd Year
This year is called workbase because this year you get put into a work program where you can go work with kids in the real world.If you can't drive you can help out with the kids in the school.
