Ingalls Shipbuilding is a year long pre-apprenticeship program. In this class you have career opportunities in the shipbuilding craft area that teaches you the high-tech skills and readiness for the workplace. There are 16 different crafts, such as (sheet medal, welding, pipe fitting) to be familiar with all of the job avalibilites at Ingall's. In October, students select which craft area they find most interesting, and for the remainder of the year, they will work in that area.
